From our guests

A family restaurant, very pleasant. Tasty food, good prices. […] We came in as customers and left as friends.

As a vegan family, they straight away offered to make us a very good meal! Excellent service and a warmth like no other that brought us back for dinner!

Carlos Pedro S · August 2025

The fried cuttlefish was excellent.

From the centre of Elvas

We are on the south-east corner of Praça da República, across from the church, where Rua do Arco do Relógio and Rua de João de Olivença begin. Ours is the door at no. 2, less than a minute from the square.

From Badajoz

About 20 km, around 20 minutes by car: the A-5 to the Caia border, then the A6 and the Elvas exit. Head up into the old town and follow signs for Praça da República.

Parking

The handiest is the underground car park under Praça da República (Estacionamento Comendador Rondão Almeida), right next to us: open 24 hours, with the first hour free.

The streets inside the walls are narrow. There are also car parks by the town gates.
